There are many definitions of transgendered that are embraced by different people. But at its core, a transgendered person is someone who defines themselves outside of society's standard two genders.
While statistics are hard to come by, there is a wealth of great resources and support groups out there for transgendered people. We at The Transgender Center aim to be one of those resources.
